Laat uw steunbetuiging achter voor de nabestaanden van de slachtoffers van de terreuraanvallen op de Verenigde Staten.
Vermoedelijk duizenden mensen verloren het leven bij de vliegtuigaanslagen op het World Trade Center in New York en het Pentagon in Washington. Daarnaast zijn enkele honderden slachtoffers gevallen bij de crash van een vierde gekaapt vliegtuig in Pennsylvania.
Het online condoleanceregister voor de slachtoffers van de terreuraanvallen in de Verenigde Staten is vrijdag 28 september 2001 aangeboden aan de waarnemend ambassadeur van de Amerikaanse Ambassade in Den Haag. We in Holland owe our liberty to the allied forces and we didn't forget that many of these allies offered their lifes for our freedom.
So... I feel now it's time all free nations, regardless of their culture, political structure and preferences, should stand together against all forms of terrorism.
I consider this attack to be an attack not only to one of our NATO partners, but as an attack to democracy, civilization, freedom and everything that it stands for...
I offer my condoleances to the American people - and especially to those who died while trying to help others: firemen, police-officers - and I hope and pray for wisdom on your side.
It's not easy to find a response which - on one hand - makes it clear this is totally unacceptable and on the same time not to lower/descent yourself to the "norms" and "values" these people seem to abide...
It won't be too difficult to nuke Afghanistan, Irak, Lybia, Palestinia... and I must admitt... if I were in your shoes... I'ld find it difficult to resist temptation.
But on the same time... that's what I mean bij lowering yourself to their standards...
But if you happen to find out who'se behind all of this... nail him to the wall... and light a charcoal fire onder his feet... Everytime he get's a little shorter, just lower him... could take days! :))) He deserves no better...
And the people who harboured him... Well... nuke them would be to easy...
Normally - in a "clean" war - I would detest it... but this time a biological weapon would be allright with me...
In the meantime... I wish you all the strength you need... I might even say a prayer for you, though that's years ago...
